Stolen from current situation
Aerin sat in his room, trying to ignore the blare coming from the party outside. Trying, but not succeeding. The music was overwhelmingly loud. So much so that his ears were starting to ring. Just the perfect thing, really, to add to his already terrible day. First he'd fought with two of his lecturers, then he'd been in a scuffle with two guys from a year below him, and now he had a splitting headache from all this raucous.Maybe some other music would help. He decided he needed something depressing to play, to match his current mood. He stuck his earphones on and turned the volume up full blast. The music which usually soothed his mood, was now only making him gloomier. It led him to brood on everything that had been happening throughout the day. Why did he always have to attract trouble the way he did? Why did problems always seem to come his way just when everything seemed to be going well for once.
He could almost feel the thunderstorm brewing in his head, lightning flashing and thunder growling menacingly. In his head, hail was pouring by the bucket from the heavens, and the wind was howling around the trees and the ground, uprooting plants and tossing furniture about.
Enough of this gloom, he thought. He stopped the music and took off the earphones, glancing outside. Well, at least the party had moved. But now it was storming outside. Great.
So where did all the people go?
